An Engineering firm specializing in transportation has been retained to assist in the development and finalization of a Terms of Reference that can be the basis for receiving a Request for Proposal to undertake the pre-feasibility study phase of the project. It is anticipated that the RFP process will be completed in the fall of 2007 and the awarding of the pre feasibility phase should fall shortly thereafter with full implementation of this phase in the winter and spring of 2007 and 2008.
The main purpose of the pre feasibility study is to advance the development of the All Season Road project further so that a more detailed feasibility study could be initiated where the selection of a preferred all season road transportation corridor can be further investigated and studied.
