RESOLUTION NO. 1986-5

SUBJECT: NEW POST BAND

WHEREAS the New Post Band has serious l?roblems in reqard to capital allocation for the develooment of their reserve;

WHEREAS the New Post Band was never consulted in regards to ca1?ital allocation;

v7HEREAS the New Post Band demands an equitable share of the caoitrJ.l allocation in the James Bay District;

WHEREAS THE New Post Band further demands that a base armunt of $200,000.00 in insure adequate funding for its Band Support Fundinq;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Department of Indian Affairs and the five other Band Councils irrmediately address the concerns of New Post to the mutual satisfaction for all concerned;
