SUBJECT: ALCOHOL REHABILITATION

WHEREAS the deleqates of the Muskeqc:q Cree Council 1,eneral Assembly have expressed their corrmunity concerns on the use of alcohol;

WHEREAS these community concerns truly reflect the dilemma of sociaJ oroblerns related to alcohol abus;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the O. P. P. , 1\1_ S. B. , COMSOC, N .A. D ,A. P. , Elders seek methods to enforce the established or pronosed liauor bv-laws, and to encoura9e the olacernent of services such as Detoxification aŁd Alcohol Rehabilitati.on Centres in ,Tames Bav.

THEREFOFE LEI' BE IT RESOLVED that the placement of services will allow the elders direct input to the recipients of this facility.
