·wHEREAS the fvluskeqocr Cree Council exoressed their concerns at the Muskeaoq Cree Council C,eneral Assembly reaarding the quality of road maintenance of the winter road servinq the Northern Bands of the Muskeqoq Cree Council:

T"7HERE..ŁS the upkeep of the ,vinter road is crucial in te:rms of cost-effective delivery of fuel, food, and building supplies:

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Muskegoq Cree Council administer the funds for the winter road to ensure that contracted work be carried out to its maximum ootential to meet the needs of the ,James Bay people.
