SUBJECT: SOCIAL COUNSELLOR -NEW POST

Councillor Howard Archibald New Post Band

WHEREAS the New Post Band requested funds for Social Counsellor salary training, travel and related duties, and;

Councillor Delores Cheena Moose Factory Band

Adopted by consensus

WHEREAS the Department of Indian Affairs has refused to provide funds for this essential local program.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT this Assembly supports and encourages the legitimate efforts of the New Post Band in continuing to seek these funds from the Department.
