RESOLUTION NO. 1987-52

SUBJECT: APPRECIATION TO EDUCATION STEERING COMMITTEE

WHEREAS the Chiefs of the Mushkegowuk Council appointed a Steering Committee to assist them in educational matters during the 1985-87 school year, and;

WHEREAS this Steering Committee assisted in resolving problems wfth high school student counselling in Timmins and in conducting a study on education and local control within our jurisdiction.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT this Assembly express its appreciation to the members of the Steering Committee (Mike Hunter, Jr., Xavier Wesley, Archie Wesley, Alex Metat, Barb Chum, George Small and Howard Archibald).
