SUBJECT: AIR TRANSPORTATION SUBSIDY

Adopted by consensus

WHEREAS Austin Airways has never received any government subsidy, and;

WHEREAS Austin Airways' alliance with Air Canada, a government subsidized national airline, has actually resulted in higher airfares for people.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Directors and staff be authorized and directed to investigate such airfares and seek a remedy on subsidies from appropriate government agencies.
