SUBJECT: HEALTH ISSUES

WHEREAS it is often difficult or dangerous for seriously ill persons to be transported to medical services in their communities;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mushkegowuk Council supports the efforts underway to obtain ambulance services for the communities of Peawanuck, Attawapiskat, Kashechewan, Fort Albany and new Post and urges all involved to expedite the resolution of this lack of an essential health service.
