SUBJECT: SOCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

WHEREAS the New Post Band has no economic base at this time;

AND WHEREAS the New Post Band and its members could benefit from the use of both the Social Assistance program and the·social Assistance Transfer Funding program;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mushkegowuk Council supports the application of the New Post Band for the implementation of these two programs under Band control and also for the creation of an administrative position in the Band for these programs.
