RESOLUTION NO. 1989-99

SUBJECT: TRIBAL ELDER

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the by-laws of the Mushkegowuk Council be amended to provide:

Tribal Elder

A Tribal Elder shall bŁ appointed by the Board of Directors to guide them at their monthly meetings;

The Board of Directors shall determine the honourarium to be paid to the Tribal Elder;

The Tribal Elder shall be selected from a list of names submitted by each First Nation and his or her term of office shall be th·ree years.
