RESOLUTION NO. 1989-112

SUBJECT: REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mushkegowuk Council approach any regional economic aevelopment opportunities on the basis that they should benefit each and every member First Nation;

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT each First Nation member of the Mushkegowuk Council will inform and work with the other members when regional economic issues or opportunities become known to them. A regional economic opportunity is defined as one which impacts and affects upon every member First Nation;

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT regional economic development issues and opportunities are to be addressed through our proposed Non­Profit Regional Development Corporation with equal membership and that our approach to regional economic development shall be consistent with the values and objectives of the Mushkegowuk Council.
