Re-structuring of OHA

RESOLUTION NO. 1991-09

Subject: Re-structuring of OHA

WHEREAS the Omushkegowuk Harvesters' Association sees a need to re-structure its organization to better serve the communities in the Mushkegowuk Region including Fort Severn;

WHEREAS the participation of all communities from Fort Severn to New Post is required;

WHEREAS resources to allow the Omushkegowuk Harvesters' Association to adequately carry out its mandate in support of traditional harvesting rights in each of the communities from Fort Severn to New Post are required;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mushkegowuk Assembly support the re­organizational structure of the Omushkegowuk Harvesters' Association;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each of the communities from Fort Severn to new Post support the Omushkegowuk Harvesters' Association and its endeavours by providing resources in an amount to be determined by each community.
