WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk First Nations has witnessed the slow social breakdown of their communities;

WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk First Nations lack the financial and human resources to initiate change;

WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk First Nations lack the facilities and programs to implement comprehensive programming;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Assembly devise and endorse a plan of action to correct this inadequacy;

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Assembly seek funds from and negotiate with the provincial and federal governments and other appropriate agencies to carry out this plan.
