WHEREAS this Assembly recognizes the need to reinforce social and cultural identity among our people, especially our young;

Chief Edmund Metatawabin Fort Albany First Nation

WHEREAS social and cultural development is critical to the proper growth of a human being;

WHEREAS our cultural identity is not being addressed in any official manner;

a Mushkegowuk social and cultural development officer position.
