RESOLUTION NO. 1994-10-23

SUBJECT: ACCOUNTABILITY OF MUSHKEGOWUK BOARDS AND ORGANIZATIONS

WHEREAS Mushkegowuk Council from time to time has found it necessary to create distinct boards or organizations or corporations to carry programs or services for the Council; and

WHEREAS there is a continuing concern in the Board of Chiefs about the accountability of such boards or organizations or corporations and about the adequacy of the reporting of such bodies; and

WHEREAS there is ongoing policy review on the topic;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the ultimate accountability of Mushkegowuk boards, organizations and corporations to the Board of Chiefs is hereby affirmed and emphasized.
