ASSEMBLY RESOLUTION

RESOLUTION NO. 1995-10-35

SUBJECT: MISSANABIE CREE LAND CLAIM

Missanabie Cree First Nation

WHEREAS the Missanabie Cree are entitled to land under Treaty #9;

WHEREAS a land claim has been filed by the Missanabie Cree First Nation;

Chief Oliver Wesley Kashechewan First Nation

WHEREAS a Federal Government report recognized the validity of the Missanabie Cree First Nation land claim;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mushkegowuk communities fully support the Missanabie Cree First Nation in their fight for a land base;

Adopted by consensus

Certified copy of a Resolution adopted on October 26, 1995

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mushkegowuk Grand Chief and staff assist, where possible, the Missanabie Cree First Nation in expediting the settlement of their outstanding land claim.
