RESOLUTION NO. 1996-08-04

SUBJECT: HELi-CREE

WHEREAS the Moose Cree First Nation has entered into joint venture discussions and arrangements with Heli-North Aviation under the name Heli-Cree;

WHEREAS this joint venture is intended to capitalize on charter helicopter service initially with the medical charter service requirements in Moosonee­Moose Factory area;

WHEREAS the long range projections are to extend this same service throughout the Mushkegowuk communities;

WHEREAS the Moose Cree First Nation has a desire to extend this joint venture to all Mushkegowuk Council First Nation affiliates;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Assembly supports in principle the concept of an expanded joint venture that will include all Mushkegowuk First Nations who wish to be part of the joint venture under the name Heli-Cree;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mushkegowuk Council facilitate a meeting between all interested
