REPRESENTATION ON THE MAMO NUSKOMITOWIN STEERING COMMITTEE

WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk Council receives funds for Employment and Training from Human Resources Canada;

WHEREAS these funds are flowed through Mamo Nuskomitowin via Wabun Tribal Council;

WHEREAS the Mamo Nuskomitowin Steering Committee negotiates with the federal government;

WHEREAS the Steering Committee consists of one representative from each of Mushkegowuk Council, Wabun Tribal Council, the Matawa Management Inc. and a technical representative from Mamo Wichihetowin Employment and Training and Mushkegowuk Employment and Training Services;

WHEREAS the current Chair of the committee is not viewed as the right person to lead negotiations.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mamo Nuskomitowin Steering Committee select a new Chair.

THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that two Mushkegowuk Chiefs sit on the Mamo Nuskomitowin Steering Committee.
