Delivery Agent -Canada Mortgage & Housing Corporation Program

WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk First Nations acquire funding on a yearly basis through Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) -Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program to assist the Mushkegowuk First Nations renovation and rehabilitation programs;

WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk Council Technical Services Unit currently acts as the delivery agent and inspector on behalf of the CMHC to deliver the Rural Rehabilitation Assistance Program in accordance with program guidelines and would like to continue with the current agency agreement for delivery of the Rural Rehabilitation Assistance Program within the Mushkegowuk First Nations;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mushkegowuk Chiefs in Assembly supports and requests that the Mushkegowuk Technical Services Unit act on behalf of the Mushkegowuk First Nations as the Inspector and Delivery Agent for the Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program for the fiscal year 2004-2005 fiscal year.

FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the Inspector and Delivery Agent services be renewed automatically annually, unless otherwise directed by the Chiefs in Assembly.
