Mushkegowuk Youth Facilities, Programs and Resources

WHEREAS the Youth within the Mushkegowuk communities have benefited from the services provided through the Mushkegowuk Youth Department; and

WHEREAS these activities have strengthened and encouraged the Youth to aspire to become more active and productive within their own individual communities; and

WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk Youth representatives have voiced their collective desire and need for their own facilities and programs to be established in their own communities;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Chiefs and Delegates in Assembly mandate the Grand Chief and the Executive to explore a regional strategy to access the necessary capital to construct facilities in each Mushkegowuk community including operational and maintenance funds for the purpose of establishing Youth Centres and programs to service Mushkegowuk Youth.
