Resource Development Projects
WHEREAS there are many potential resource development projects within the Mushkegowuk Region; and
WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk people have an interest in actively participating in the planning, development and ownership of projects that have the approval of the Mushkegowuk First Nations; and
WHEREAS previous Mushkegowuk Assemblies have endorsed the Mushkegowuk Resource Development Protocol.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Assembly directs Wakenagun Community Futures to facilitate meetings of the Economic Development Officers from Mushkegowuk First Nations with the purpose of exploring opportunities to work together on potential projects and on the implementation of the Mushkegowuk Resource Development Protocol.
