WHEREAS the Omushkegowuk are united and have a desire to work together and strengthen • our communications with each other;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Mamowihitowin of the Omushkegowuk acknowledge the need for the creation and implementation of a Mushkegowuk Council Communications mandate to seek out financial resources to secure and support the creation of a Communications Department within Mushkegowuk Council.

We help improve the quality of life for our people, by providing accessible, equitable, and high quality support and advisory services to our First Nations in areas including governance, political, spiritual, social and economic development, health, language and culture, environment, technical services and education.
