WHEREAS the Chiefs and Delegates of this Mamowhitowin of the Mushkegowuk strongly expressed the need to honour and practice our teachings to work together as a proud united Nation; and

WHEREAS the Chiefs and Delegates of this Assembly,. as guided by the elders, recognize the importance and need of continuing our tradition of working together in unity during these trying times, and times of great opportunity (including resource and infrastructure development possibilities);

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Mamowihitowin of the Omushkegowuk reaffirms our tradition and desire of working together, and recognizes the need and the benefits of continuing, and increasing, our spirit and practices of mutual understanding and mutual support in these times of great difficulties and great opportunities.
