Confirmation of Grand Chief and Deputy Grand Chief

WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk Council Elections for the positions of the Grand Chief and Deputy Grand Chief were held on August 15, 2015; and

WHEREAS in accordance with the Election Code 2007, Grand Chief Jonathan Solomon and Deputy Grand Chief Rebecca Friday were sworn in on October 20th, 2015 at the 30th Annual Mamowihitowin of Omushkego;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mamowihitowin of the Omushkegowuk, accept and give our full support to Jonathan Solomon as the Grand Chief and Rebecca Friday as the Deputy Grand Chief for a four (4) year term.
