Support for Nishnawbe Aski Nation Legal Services Talking Together Program

WHEREAS NAN Legal Services Talking Together Program is offered to all Mushkegowuk Communities; and

WHEREAS Mushkegowuk

Communities should first be seeking the services of NAN Legal Services Talking Together Program before children are apprehended; and

WHEREAS Community Chief and Councils should take advantage of the services of NAN Legal Services Talking Together Program; and

WHEREAS a First Nation funded band representative from each Community be at the Talking Circle to support their Community client.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this assembly of the Omushkegowuk support NAN Legal Services Talking Together Program being utilized by Community members to keep our children in our communities.
