All Season Road Feasibility Study

WHEREAS the Chiefs and Delegates of the 32nd Annual Mamowihitowin were presented and updated of the status of the All Season Road Project; and

WHEREAS the Chiefs and delegates of various Mushkegowuk Communities expressed a need for further consultation and to recognize and acknowledge community decision­making processes;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that additional Chief and Council and community member input be gathered from all Mushkegowuk First Nation communities to be brought back to a Special Chiefs Meeting in early 2018 for a decision on a preferred inland all season road corridor (Highway 11 to James Bay coast) to be carried forward for detailed feasibility study.
