All Season Road Feasibility Study

WHEREAS project Consultant Morrison Hershfield has completed the All-Season Road Feasibility Study and presented to Council of Chiefs meeting Dec 2020 and report was accepted for funding purposes; and

WHEREAS no further direction has been given to Mushkegowuk Council to carry on the work to date on All-Season Road file;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED The 35th Mamowihitowin of the Mushkegowuk directs the Mushkegowuk Council to continue the work completed to date on the All Season Road file regarding:

Ongoing Community consultation and engagement sessions

Project Implementation Approach

Confirm Proponent of the Proposed All­Season Road

Procure funding for initial steps

Initiate contact with federal/provincial regulatory agencies

Conduct field investigations and preliminary Design

Undertake a coordinated federal/provincial impact Assessment/Environmental Assessment.
