RESOLUTION NO. 1993-18
a need for
elders and
AND WHEREAS there are currently no chronic care facilities in the community;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mushkegowuk Assembly hereby endorses and supports the proposed Chronic Care Facility for Kashechewan;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Governments of Ontario and Canada are hereby requested to provide financial support for the design, construction and operations of the Chronic Care Facility;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Omushkegowuk Regional Health Board is hereby requested to actively assist Kashechewan with this initiative.
