Subject: Solvent Abuse Response Model
WHEREAS Payukotayno has submitted to the Ministry of Health, a draft proposal for a Solvent Abuse Response Model;
WHEREAS it is also a proposed model to capture the surplus funding identified from the Ministry of Health;
WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk First Nations have experienced a high rate of suicide and solvent abuse amongst our youth;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Chiefs support his proposal for Youth treatment or services.
