RESOLUTION NO. 1995-10-17

SUBJECT: BULK PURCHASING BY PASICO

WHEREAS the Pasico Development Corporation has been set up by the Chiefs of Mushkegowuk and;

WHEREAS at the present time Pasico Development Corporation has no real equity for investment purposes and;

WHEREAS the needs of the people could be used in our favour by way of group purchasing;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Assembly of Mushkegowuk Council supports the proposal of Pasico Development Corporation to explore acting as the bulk purchasing agent for the Mushkegowuk region;

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Pasico work closely with the interested First Nation communities to develop possible bulk purchasing agency in a manner which shares the benefits with each First Nation involved;

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Assembly authorizes Pasico to explore joint venture options using the Mushkegowuk market as their equity.
