RESOLUTION NO. 1997-08-22

SUBJECT: Y O U T H NETWORKING

WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk Chiefs in Assembly have reviewed the presentation "Creating a Network for Youth"; and

WHEREAS the Mushkegowuk Chiefs have a mandate to supports its youth initiatives; and

WHEREAS a need for structured, regular communication and interaction between the youth of the different Mushkegowuk Communities has been identified; and

WHEREAS the Assembly delegates from each of the Mushkegowuk communities have committed to identify a contact person in their respective community,

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mushkegowuk Chiefs in Assembly support the initiatives of the youth in the creation of a communication network for the youth for the purpose of maintaining continuity and awareness of the various endeavours of the youth in the Mushkegowuk Territory.
