Support for Wakenagun's Future Operations and Appointment of MNP as Auditors

WHEREAS Wakenagun Community Futures Development Corporation (WCFDC) intends to continue to provide program services for Mushkegowuk and other communities in the catchment areas, to improve socio­economic conditions through provision of jobs and employment by Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs); and

WHEREAS the 2018 AGA of the Mushkegowuk Council supports the continued funding by FedNor after a hiatus of about a year without a contribution agreement, to continue WCFDC operations for fiscal year 2019; and

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this 2018 AGA of Mushkegowuk Council hereby confirms its continued support for the future operations of Wakenagun Community Futures Development Corporation; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this 2018 AGA of Mushkegowuk Council approves the appointment and continuation of MNP as auditors for the WCFDC for fiscal year 2018, as proposed by the WCFDC Board of Directors at its meeting of October 31, 2018.
