SUPPORT FOR TAYKWA TAGAMOU NATION AS A MEMBER TO WAHA
WHEREAS the Fort Albany First Nation, Kashechewan First Nation, Attawapiskat First Nation, Weenusk First Nation, the Town of Moosonee, MoCreebec and the Federal and Provincial governments signed onto the Weeneebayko Area Health Integration framework Agreement (WAHIFA) on August 31, 2007;
WHEREAS Taykwa Tagamou Nation has community members living in the Moose Factory/Moosonee area;
WHEREAS Taykwa Tagamou Nation has not been included as a member of Weeneebayko Area Health Authority, but wishes to become a member;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Kihchinaskishkatowin of the Omushkegowuk supports and endorses the inclusion of Taykwa Tagamou Nation as a member of the Weeneebayko Area Health Authority with full rights and privileges.
